In November, the Blue Water Task Force received a $1,000 grant from the Avila Beach Community Foundation to purchase lab supplies. This is a matching grant so the award of the grant is contingent on the program receiving $1,000 in additional donations to match the amount of the grant.
If successful, the $2,000 will be sufficient to purchase lab supplies for 20 weeks of testing at our 11 sites, continuing our work to monitor the water quality at creek and ocean sites in San Luis Obispo County.
