Visit the Call to Action Alley in Mitchell Park on January 18, 2020, from 9am to 1pm, at the Time Is Now march and rally event. We'll be there talk to you about who we are, what we do, and how you can get involved and make a difference in our community.
Two of our priority campaigns will be featured: Protect Oceano Dunes in partnership with the Dunes Alliance, and the STOP Climate Change program. The Dunes Alliance is a coalition of community and environmental organizations active on the California Central Coast and dedicated to the safe and environmentally-sustainable use and enjoyment of the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Complex. STOP is advocating for the Green New Deal and has been active over the past five years fighting expansion of fossil fuel projects such as offshore drilling, the Phillips 66 crude oil train terminal project, and fracking on federal lands, and supported Measure G to ban new oil infrastructure.
