SLO Surfrider is all in with the Coalition to Protect SLO County’s initiative to protect our water and ban new oil wells in our county. The Coalition is gathering signatures of County voters in order to qualify the initiative for the November 2018 ballot. They have until April 30 to get 13,000 signatures and need us to sign the petition and help gather signatures. Charles Varni, SLO Surfrider’s STOP Climate Change Coordinator is also serving as the Coalition’s Co-Chair.
