On Saturday, September 26, people around the world will gather on beaches and join hands in solidarity to say NO to offshore oil drilling.
Hosted by our SLO Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and the Santa Lucia Chapter of the Sierra Club, this gathering is our local contribution to the international Hands Across the Sand rally.
We’ll meet at Grover Beach to stand together for our coastline and show the strength of our community’s commitment to protecting SLO County’s oceans, waves, and beaches.
