Join Us for Shore Stories: Six Short Films to Stop Offshore Drilling on February 3

Join us for Shore Stories, six short films that highlight the grassroots resistance taking place across the U.S., as well as stories from past oil and gas exploration – including the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster. This event is free.

Saturday, February 3, 7 p.m.
French Hospital – Copeland Pavilion, 3rd Floor
1911 Johnson Ave
San Luis Obispo

In January 2018, the Trump administration proposed a new offshore oil drilling plan that would open up nearly all U.S. waters to offshore oil drilling, including California. This plan threatens our coastal ecosystems, economies, and way of life.

After the films we’ll discuss the proposal and how you can get involved in resisting offshore oil drilling in California.

Presented By: Surfrider Slo, Santa Lucia Sierra Club, Coalition To Protect SLO County, EcoSLO, and Eco-Networking Group.
