Join Us on May 22 to Stop Trump's Drilling Attack

Trump’s Bureau of Land Management released their draft plan for new oil and gas leasing on public lands in most of the Central Coast and Central Valley. They intend to reopen more than a million acres of public land to oil and gas drilling, mining, and fracking – a disaster for our health, environment, and atmosphere.

This reckless move would end a more than five-year-old moratorium on leasing federal public lands to oil companies in California's Central Valley and along the southern Central Coast.

The comment period for the draft plan is now open and the Bureau of Land Management is holding a public meeting in San Luis Obispo next Wednesday, May 22.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for public comment & objection in which any individual will have the chance for up to a two minute statement of concern. This is our chance to speak directly to the administration.  If you need a talking point we can provide it at the meeting and/or come to support those who do speak.

Tell Trump’s Bureau of Land Management that you oppose any new fossil fuel extraction on California's beautiful public lands.

  • When: Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m. (but please arrive earlier, by 5 p.m. if possible, to make sure you get a seat! Doors will be open at 4:30 p.m.)
  • What: Press Conference & Public Meeting to address BLM panel
  • Where: Embassy Suites by Hilton - 333 Madonna Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405
