1400 Butts and a Comforter

That's what 94 volunteers for Surfrider picked up near Pismo Pier on International Coastal Cleanup Day 2017:

• over 1400 cigarette butts (up from 1060 last year)
• 44 pounds of trash (including a comforter)
• 10 pounds of recyclables
